CooperVision has donated $25,000 to the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO) to start a Student Relief Fund for the 2020-21 school year. The fund is designed to help support optometry students who have been negatively impacted by the COVID pandemic in terms of loss of income or of student financial aid opportunities. The fund will allow each ASCO-associated school to award either one $1,000 grant or two $500 grants to students in need for the upcoming school year. Criteria for eligibility and selection will be established by the individual schools.
