In late April, incoming and outgoing contact lens residents from around the country convened in St. Louis for the 6th annual AOA CLCS Residency Forum. The CooperVision-sponsored event allows contact lens residents to come together for a day of networking, discussion and learning in the field of contact lens care. Twenty-eight residents joined industry leaders for the event.
In addition to contact lens case studies and other clinical topics, residents participated in workshops covering career options, contact lens billing and coding, personal financial management, and legislative issues related to the Contact Lens Rule and contact lens care. Participants had the opportunity to share insights and advice with one another as well in breakout sessions with small group discussion.
