How One ECP Bridged Vision Therapy and Myopia Control

Myopia management and vision therapy may seem like two distinct pediatric specialties, but for Mississippi optometrist Megan Sumrall Lott, integrating the former into her well established vision therapy-focused office was a natural fit.

In a recent article, Dr. Lott shares how vision therapy and myopia management can be synergized into a practice, and how ECPs can turn pediatric eye examinations into a fun and rewarding experience.

‘In a child’s early and ongoing years, you can really make a huge impact on their education, future eye health, and quality of life.1 Don’t approach children as mini-adults. They grow rapidly, so be proactive in treating these little people,” she says.
