Best Practices 2017 Honoree Shauna Thornhill, OD of Amarillo Vision Specialists has been named a Rising Star in Vision Monday’s Most Influential Women in Optometry for 2017.
Now in its 15th year, Vision Monday’s special report on the Most Influential Women in Optical honors women throughout the industry, pulling from the worlds of vision care, retailing, manufacturing, distribution, dispensing and designing.
The Rising Stars category recognizes women who are “up and comers” in their careers and companies. Thornhill has previously been honored as a CooperVision 2017 Best Practices Award Winner, the 2006 Student Research Award Winner for the AOA: Contact Lens and Cornea Section, the 2016 Walmart Divisional Doctor of the Year, and a Regional and District Doctor of the Year for 2014 and 2015.
