The 2018 Best Practices Honorees joined CooperVision senior executives in Austin, Texas in late April for the 3rd annual Best Practices Summit. This unique annual event gives the honorees an opportunity to meet, share their insights and learn more about the opportunities in store from the program.
A 2-day event, the 2018 Best Practices Summit featured roundtables focused on topics such as meeting the needs of the evolving patient population, increasing practice profitability and implementing marketing strategy. Dr. David Ricketts, Innovation Fellow at Harvard University, kicked off the event with a discussion on how to leverage innovative thinking to build business and improve the patient experience. To conclude on the second day, the final session featured CooperVision's Michele Andrews, OD, Senior Director of Professional & Academic Affairs, and Simon Seshadri, Vice President of Marketing, North America, who shared research into contact lens wearer habits and provided a company update.
The 2018 Best Practices will be presented with opportunities to help educate and elevate the profession through the telling of their stories, including exposure through news media, conferences, Professional Affairs events, and social media. In addition, they will be participating in a special “think tank” event at Optometry’s Meeting® in June, the EYEdea Lab. CooperVision will open 2019 Best Practices submissions in the fall. Learn more about this year’s honorees and upcoming EYEdea Lab on the Best Practices web site.
