Setting an Early Foundation of Myopia Control as Primary Care

Pacific University College of Optometry fourth-year student Camila Hachmeister is already a rising star and a recipient of CooperVision’s Contact Lens Clinical Excellence Award. But a recent experience in clinic with an 11-year-old girl whose myopia had previously continued to progress until she was fit in MiSight® 1 day*†‡1 changed Camilla’s approach to myopia management and helped her build confidence in the exam room.

In this ECP Viewpoints podcast, CooperVision’s Dr. Priscilla Chang, OD, FAAO, IACMM, sits down with Camila to discuss her experience as a fourth year-student, her goals for the future, and why myopia control should be primary care.
