CooperVision's Senior Director of Professional & Academic Affairs for North America, Dr. Michele Andrews, was recently announced as the Industry winner of the 2019 Theia Awards by Women in Optometry. According to this article Dr. Andrews was selected because she "...has been key to the CooperVision Best Practices program introduced in 2015. She leads and/or oversees the execution of CooperVision's academic programs and is heavily involved in advocacy."
Now in it's fourth year, the Theia Award program honors women throughout the eyecare profession in the categories of Leadership, Young OD, Innovation, Influencer, Mentoring, Education and Industry. This year's winners will be honored at a reception on October 24th in Orlando.
