CooperVision® Elementary’s Legacy Lives on Through Its Books

CooperVision recently donated 900 plus books from its elementary school inspired trade show booth to The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta.

From SECO, to Academy, to Optometry’s Meeting and beyond, we have shared the importance of myopia control and early treatment with thousands of attendees who visited our CooperVision® Elementary booth.1

At the close of SECO 2026, we officially said goodbye to our popular trade show booth that showcased a mix of clinical science with a good dose of kid-inspired classroom creativity. However, as we retire CooperVision® Elementary, its legacy will live on through its books.

We are  pleased to announce that we have donated more than 900 books that once lined CooperVision® Elementary’s shelves to The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta. The choice was an obvious one, since educator and former CooperVision 2025 Academy keynote speaker, Michael Bonner, teaches at the non-profit middle school.

“Providing these books to students at The Ron Clark Academy feels like a natural extension of the booth’s purpose,” said Jennifer Palombi, OD, FAAO, Director, Professional Affairs, Americas, CooperVision. “What began as a creative way to spotlight early intervention now continues in a way that supports learning and opportunity for young students.”

Since its debut at Optometry’s Meeting 2024 in Indianapolis, the CooperVision® Elementary booth has been a staple feature at trade shows and events across the United States. A new booth concept is in development and will premiere at Optometry’s Meeting 2026. Stay tuned! And we’ll see you in Phoenix, AZ at Optometry’s Meeting in June!
