New Design, New Opportunities with clariti® 1 day multifocal 3 Add

When Dr. Josh Rajasansi first heard that a new soft multifocal contact lens, the clariti® 1 day multifocal 3 Add, was about to be launched in the U.S., his original thought was, “Oh great, another lens.” Dr. Rajasansi, who would later participate in the in-market assessment of the lens, then considered that the original clariti® 1 day multifocal was already working well for his patients with presbyopia.

“Then I thought, if the new 3 Add design is an improvement, not only will patients who are wearing the original design benefit, perhaps other patients who weren’t successful in other multifocal lenses will too. From an economic standpoint, it fit really nicely into a budget-minded consumer as well.”

In this ECP Viewpoints Podcast, Dr. Rajasansi and CooperVision’s Dr. Jennifer Palombi discuss how the innovative new design behind the clariti® 1 day multifocal 3 Add delivers upgrades in vision and comfort*2 to a wide range of patients with presbyopia, and easy fits and refits3 for eye care professionals.
