SOUTHAMPTON, UNITED KINGDOM, October 28, 2024—Global contact lens manufacturer, CooperVision, secured two prestigious wins at the 2024 edition of the Digital Impact Awards in London; the Gold award for Best Innovation and the Silver award for Best use of Digital from the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Sector.

CooperVision received the awards for its ‘Showpad CooperVision Advantage Experience’ product, a digital business development toolkit created collaboratively with brand design agency, Bridge. The innovative project began as part of CooperVision’s global initiative to combat market challenges facing the contact lens industry and desire to improve the way its Business Development Managers (BDMs) engaged with eye care professional customers, via a consultative selling approach.

Presented via their laptop or tablet, the ‘Showpad CooperVision Advantage Experience’ provides BDMs with a framework which they can work within to ensure that they understand the customer’s specific needs and can provide them with access to the tools and services which are most likely to help them achieve their goals. Working collaboratively, the BDM and customer use this digital experience on an ongoing basis to track utilisation of the relevant tools and services and gauge progress against their business metrics.
