ROCHESTER, NY, June 17, 2024—In support of the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering innovative products and programs to the eye care community, CooperVision has elevated two of its senior executives, Michele Andrews, OD, and Melissa Kiewe, into new leadership roles.
Michele Andrews, OD, has been promoted to Vice President, Marketing and Professional Affairs, Americas. The position expands Dr. Andrews’ leadership responsibilities to encompass regional marketing strategy and initiatives—including product launches, programs, and promotions—while maintaining her stewardship of professional, academic, and advocacy initiatives. “Bringing together the key functions of marketing and professional affairs under a single leader—especially a veteran optometrist with both broad clinical experience and deep industry knowledge—reflects our commitment to advancing the eye care profession,” said Alex Wilkes, President, Americas, CooperVision. “Michele has distinguished herself through her unwavering dedication to optometry, winning the constant admiration of her colleagues over her decades-long career. Her insights have been integral to our partnerships with practitioners, enhancing how we offer products and programs to benefit patients and practices alike. Michele was a natural choice for this role.”

In her new role, she is responsible for leading transformative business initiatives that drive continuous improvement and innovation across all aspects of the customer experience around the world. She has been with CooperVision since 2016.
“In her time at CooperVision, Melissa has spearheaded innovative initiatives and programs that advanced and evolved the eye care community. It’s a privilege to celebrate and elevate her and Michele into roles in which they’ll have even greater reach and impact,” said Jerry Warner, President, CooperVision. “Both Melissa and Michele are visionaries in the industry, and their expertise and experiences are invaluable to our continued growth and expanded partnerships around the world.”
