Deepens Opportunities for Business-Building Partnerships with Eye Care Professionals and Retail Customers Across the Region

MEXICO CITY, April 27, 2015 — Reflecting its growing presence in Latin America and a commitment to deepen its partnerships with eye care professionals, CooperVision, Inc., has named two eye health industry veterans to newly established leadership roles.

Ricardo Pintor, O.D., FIACLE, has joined the company as Professional Affairs Manager for Mexico and Latin America, in which he’ll partner with industry, professional and academic communities to advance clinical knowledge and build business opportunities. He will also direct technical support for soft contact lens products within the region.

Dr. Pintor was the founder and former editor-in-chief of the Pan-American Journal of Contact Lenses, and he has published more than 30 manuscripts in professional journals. From 1997 to 2009, he served as a clinical instructor of optometry and contact lenses at the National University of Mexico (UNAM)­­, training hundreds of eye care professionals. For the past eight years, he has served as Professional Affairs Manager, Mexico, Caribbean & Central America, for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.

Marcos Lecznowolski has been appointed Regional Sales Director for the Caribbean and Central America, with a dedicated focus on expanding CooperVision’s partnerships with sales organizations, distributors and retailers. He has more than 30 years of experience in working and collaborating in the contact lens industry and has been with CooperVision for over 12 years. Most recently, he served in dual business development and professional affairs roles for the company.
