SAN RAMON, CALIF., May 9, 2022— CooperVision, a global leader in myopia management, has kicked off its 2022 Myopia Management Workshop series. The immersive full-day events are designed to accelerate practices’ clinical and business success in the fast-growing sector.
Eye care professionals (ECPs) from across the U.S. recently traveled to Miami for 2022’s first gathering, which followed pilot events in Chicago and San Diego last year. Additional workshops in Denver and Boston follow.
In addition to participating in interactive expert-led sessions, workshop attendees can also learn from their peers’ varied and valuable myopia management experiences. These workshops provide optometrists and ophthalmologists who are adding myopia management to their practice for the first time opportunities to connect with doctors who have prescribed Paragon CRT® for several years and MiSight® 1 day soft contact lenses for myopia control in children aged 8-12 at the initiation of treatment following its 2019 FDA* approval.

* Indications for Use: MiSight® 1 day (omafilcon A) soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses for daily wear are indicated for the correction of myopic ametropia and for slowing the progression of myopia in children with non-diseased eyes, who at the initiation of treatment are 8-12 years of age and have a refraction of -0.75 to -4.00 diopters(spherical equivalent) with ≤ 0.75 diopters of astigmatism.
