Silicone Hydrogel 1-Day Toric Contact Lens

PLEASANTON, Calif., October 23 2019 — Giving eye care professionals the opportunity to fit an even greater number of astigmatic patients in a silicone hydrogel 1-day contact lens, CooperVision, Inc. has announced expanded prescriptions for its clariti® 1 day toric. In mid-December, the lenses will be available in around-the-clock axes1, and with the addition of axes in the -2.25 cylinder power and plus powers in Spring 2020, clariti® 1 day toric’s prescription options will expand by nearly 50 percent.2

“CooperVision is known worldwide for toric contact lens innovation and performance. This latest range extension illustrates our commitment to providing a wide range of stable,3 comfortable silicone hydrogel 1-day toric options, allowing as many astigmatic patients as possible to be fit,” said Michele Andrews, OD, Senior Director, North America Professional and Academic Affairs, CooperVision. “From sphere to toric to multifocal, and in every modality, CooperVision continues to offer the industry’s broadest range of soft contact lenses, allowing today’s practitioners to meet the unique vision correction needs of virtually any patient.4
