PLEASANTON, Calif., February 28, 2019 CooperVision’s innovative, multifaceted program to boost the knowledge of its U.S. salesforce has received an Excellence in Technology Award from Brandon Hall Group, the independent human capital management research and analyst firm.

The awards recognize technology advancements in learning and development, talent management and acquisition, workforce management, and sales enablement. CooperVision and its development partner, GP Strategies, were given the bronze award for Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.

CooperVision’s winning, engaging program included activity-rich instructional workshops, an interactive digital game, and other materials that company representatives could use after its Americas Sales Conference (ASC). The assets were delivered to the salesforce during the ASC using partner platforms Allego and Showpad, which integrate mobile cloud and video technology.

“An effective salesforce is a direct result of effective training,” said Jerry Warner, President, Americas, CooperVision. “We are committed to equipping our selling organization with valuable data and industry trends to help educate eye care professionals and their staffs about the latest in contact lenses, consumer behavior, and more—ultimately enabling them to better serve their patients and build their practices.”

One guidebook proved to be particularly useful to the salesforce. After its initial ASC release, CooperVision partnered with GP Strategies to provide regular updates, ensuring it remained current with the latest news, product releases, and sales and marketing tools.

All award entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, as well as analysts and executives from Brandon Hall Group. Judging was based on solution design and functionality, usability, innovation, and overall measurable benefit to the organization. Honorees included corporations from around the world, including Verizon, GE, and Adobe Systems.
