Optimized Lens Geometry
CooperVision Avaira® toric offers your patients with astigmatism a lens that maximizes performance and delivers a remarkable level of consistency—especially important for astigmatic patients who typically need different prescriptions in each eye. Avaira toric lenses are both stable and accurate due to Optimized Ballast Design (or Optimized Lens Geometry.). This type of design is multifaceted to ensure optimal visual acuity, fit and comfort. The geometry of the Avaira toric and its wide ballast band quickly orient the lens for better performance and simple fitting. And it’s consistent horizontal ISO thickness also enhances lens stability and provides a consistent fit across the power range—providing excellent vision, regardless of prescription.
Patented Aquaform® Technology Plus PEG
CooperVision’s exclusive Aquaform Technology makes Avaira a naturally hydrophilic contact lens that retains water within the lens, minimizing dehydration. It also combines low modulus and high oxygen transmissibility for added comfort and breathability. Avaira lenses also feature Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), a highly effective lubricating agent that tightly binds water throughout the lens. The result is continuous comfort throughout your patient’s day and the life of the lens.
*Warning: UV-absorbing contact lenses are not substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear, such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses, as they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. Patients should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed.
