Facebook is going to be an important tool for your practice whether your business objectives are to gain visibility online, acquire new patients, or connect with existing customers. By creating a Facebook Page for your business, you will establish a new interactive venue in a market where engagement is key. This will be the profile you use to represent your optometry office and increase your presence online—and setting it up is easy and free.
First, go to www.facebook.com and click the link on the bottom of the page that says “Create a Page”.
Now Facebook is going to ask you what kind of Page you want to be represented as. If you’re an optometry office, I’d recommend you select Local Business or Page, and select the category “Health/Medical/Pharmacy” in the drop down menu.
