After 40, there’s no reason you can’t look just as fabulous as ever. The strong sense of self that comes with age exudes more beauty than any kind of makeup. That said, there are tips and tricks for refining your look that will enhance your confidence and sophistication.

Looking good from the inside out

It’s amazing how just taking care of yourself through good diet and exercise makes an enormous difference in how you look. Drinking 8 glasses of water a day can even reduce the appearance of fine lines as the hydration plumps up the skin cells. Another great trick is to drink warm water with lemon when you first wake up. It helps flush out toxins and the vitamin C clears the skin.

Too young for bifocals?

We agree. Many people are surprised when they reach 40 and have trouble reading a menu or the fine print of a newspaper. This condition is known as presbyopia which is caused by the crystalline lens inside the eye becoming less flexible with age. Rather than wearing bifocals, or carting around reading glasses wherever you go, talk to your eye doctor about multifocal contact lenses. CooperVision offers a variety of options including Proclear, a 1 day multifocal, Biofinity, an extended wear multifocal option , and Proclear EP, the only multifocal designed for early presbyopes. Attitude is everything

It’s easy to bemoan turning 40 and preoccupy yourself with every little physical change. But remember, some 50 year olds are physically younger than some 35 year olds. If you can let go of the number and love yourself, take good care of yourself and remember you’re the same you you’ve always been, then you will never stop looking good, or feeling good for that matter.

I would like to know if you plan a biofinity multifocal toric.
I tolerate biofinity toric very well but now with presbyopia I need a multifocal toric. I do not want to give up biofinity and I do not tolerate proclear multifocal toric. Thanks.

Thank you for the question, Silvia. It is our goal to provide the best possible lenses for our patients. I am so happy that you are pleased with Biofinity toric. Rest assured that we are working on extended parameter lenses for Biofinity, including Biofinity multifocal toric.

Stay posted with your Optometrist on this availability over the next year or so. In the interim though, please work with your eye care practitioner to determine your options to accommodate your early presbyopia. Thank you for using CooperVision products.

Hi I was just prescribed biofinity multifocal but I would like to try daily contacts. Are Proclear multifocal the same as biofinity ?
Thanks
Jackie

I had trials and now have ordered Proclear Multifocal Toric lenses.
The trials were from a different practitioner than my order. However, the trials kept on ripping after just a few days and I was very concerned about that.

When I ordered these very expensive lenses elsewhere I already ordered 18 months worth for a 12 months period because of the ripping risk but these keep on ripping at this fast rate. Within the first week I am on my 3rd pair of lenses and these are monthly lenses.
I even ended up with a corneal abrasion and antibiotic due to a defective contact on my right eye.
I have been wearing contacts for years and are used to handling and cleaning them and never had an issue with any other brand. It tried the Hydrogen Peroxide cleaning solution or Bio True cleaning solution both with the same disappointing result.

Who do I get with f since the online provider does not take returns on medical devices.... I am out almost $700 dollars and I am afraid to wear these lenses due to the abrasion risk.

Hi Ursula,  Thank you for reaching out to us.  We want to be able to help.  Please send an email to CC@CVLens.com so we can get more information about the issue.
